An epic cooperative adventure board game for 1 to 4 players!

Pathfinder Quest Cover art featuring the pathfinder iconics fighting a large monster made of molten rock

Sharpen your swords and ready your spells because the people of the Darkmoon Vale are in danger and they need your help! Gather up to three friends and explore the mysteries of the vale and uncover the villain behind the sinister forces that threaten to reduce the entire region to a pile of smoldering ash.

Pathfinder Quest is an adventure board game where you and your friends take on the role of heroes trying to help the town of Falcon’s Hollow avoid certain catastrophe. The story unfolds over eight of twelve possible thrilling adventures, where your choices and the luck of the dice will determine the fate of everyone in the region. Create your own character by selecting an ancestry and class, and further customize your character with powerful magic items, feats, and magic spells! With so many choices to be made, no two games will ever play the same!

Pathfinder Quest includes an Adventure Book (detailing each one of the possible dozen adventures you might experience), a Challenge Book (containing the hidden outcomes for many of your choices), map tiles, custom dice, hundreds of cards, monster pawns, and select miniatures as well!

You can secure your copy of Pathfinder Quest by participating in our crowdfunding campaign, set to launch on BackerKit this fall! Sign up for more news and updates in the coming months over on our Pre-Launch page right NOW! If you sign up for news and back the game when it goes live, we will include a special metal coin as a bonus.

Wow! I remember when Darkmoon Vale and Falcon's Hollow seemed to get a fair amount of attention in the early days of "Gamemastery" Modules and even a little bit during the beginning of the 1st edition of Pathfinder. Nice to see it making a comeback of a sort. (Not gonna lie, this does sound pretty good).

Wow, color me intrigued! Is this going to be like Arkham Horror the Card Game?

No, this is not a card game. The closest thing we have to the Arkham Horror card game is the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. This is more similar to the actual Arkham Horror board game than the card game version.

Isn’t the Adventure Card Game dead though? I’d love for it not to be or for an official 2nd edition but it seems pretty dead. I mean most of the pages for it on Paizo.com just lead you in a circle.

Likely 13+ due to the plastic parts involved.

Awesome. I love cooperative games.

Will this be coming to retail stores as well? While I understand the use of crowd funding, I also prefer to support my LGS whenever possible.

And here I am, still waiting for my Pathfinder Arena since Nov '22...

Need to put this on BGG

So is this like Tainted Grail? A narrative game?

Or more like Gloomhaven? With scenarios and missions?

I mean, this:

sounds pretty granular. Ancestry, class choices. Dice to resolve things, lots of foes, cards, challenges, adventures etc

TBF, Paizo have no control over that, as it's not a Paizo product.

I find myself wondering how many ancestries and classes there are.

Still, Pathfinder-themed Arkham Horror? Definitely interested in that.

Sounds a lot like Mice and Mystics, actually. Possibly a bit more in-depth?

side note: the "coming soon" on BackerKit is marked as 97 days and a few hours. So... not immediate.

People talking how this will be like Arkham Horror and I, the old guy, am thinking this is a lot like Hero Quest. Even looks and is named similar. When it first released, Hero Quest is what got me into RPGs in the late 80s.

I'm excited!

Same. But we're getting it by the end of June For Sure...

Spoiler:
I'll believe it when it arrives in the mail.
But like someone else said -- not Paizo's fault.

Sad to think I will get to play this before Arena. Anyways, lots to play and do in the meantime! #GenCon2024

Yeah, I 100% hope it'll be closer to Hero Quest too. xD

But when I played, Hero Quest was already ancient. :P
It was still very fun.
I also still have my elf character sheet, Elioruh Slivanion... 5 quests completed, wand of magic, Talisman of Lore... xD

Yep. No idea what Arkham Horror boardgame played like, but would totally enjoy a HeroQuest-esque Pathfinder Quest.

Hmm, Heroquestesque.

Sovereign Court

Nice!

Scarab Sages

If this is going to be similar to HeroQuest but set in Golarion, I will definitely be interested!
