I like how the dragons look like they're on the GM's side. Eating the adventurers on the player's book while the gm sits astride one on the gm book. Most beautiful.

For those wondering, that's the new diabolic dragon on the Player Core and the new mirage dragon on the GM Core. :)

Shout outs to the ever amazing Kent Hamilton for concepting those dragons in-house and, of course, to the inimitable Wayne Reynolds for making them look absolutely killer on these covers!

Hey friends, things are moving fast ever since January! The retailer edition is different from the special edition. The latter, we will be able to sell on the street date, and the former we won’t be able to sell on paizo.com until 120 days later. The pocket edition will come 90 days after street date. I don’t believe there will be a retailer version of the pocket edition. I’ll reply to this, if any of this information is not correct. :)

Looks like I'll be buying three copies of these books! Regular, sketch, and special edition. Looking forward to seeing what the special edition covers will be.

What color are the dragons? Oh, it doesn't matter. I like that just seeing a dragon's color won't tell you what its special abilities are anymore. Can't wait to see the new dragons.

I may just have some residual saltyness that the writers raised some actual redemption potential with Xanderghul, only to canonically roast his soul upon a spit in the last volume, while Belimarius, who by her attitude alone is much more likely to get killed by player characters, gets to canonically run Edasseril.

Will the new core dragons include lovable and wholesome dragons and also sadistic and cruel dragons, like how chromatic and metallic dragons were?

Could any of the new dragons out-wholesome the lovable brass boi? Or out-malice the cruel red?

The diabolic dragon looks sick and I imagine it’ll be fun to fight

But will any of the new dragons be lovable and wholesome, like my currently favorite dragon, brass dragons (whom I lovingly refer to as ‘Brass Bois’)?

In my home game I attempted to rectify this by making Xanderghul much, much more insidious and actively evil. But I do agree that he could have been developed further and pose a greater threat - or seen a chance at redemption.

These look phenomenal...hopefully we can get some puzzles with these new covers as well as other merch :)

Is the color on the binding green? What ever color it is, it looks so good.

It says "Worldwide" I would hope it includes Sweden too, told my FLG about this and they're eager to hopefully get their hands on this!

This won't be the last we see Xanderghul in 2E, in other words...

Only concern is whether my game store will stock them. :|

Could you possibly answer my question about dragons that I posted in this thread a little bit ago?

Will the new core dragons include lovable and wholesome dragons and also sadistic and cruel dragons, like how chromatic and metallic dragons were?

1) Yes to both, I suspect and hope.

2) The existing dragons in 2nd edition aren't vanishing from the game. You can still use them in your games in the remastered rules. And we'll continue to have them play roles in Golarion in remastered adventures... but that's a "later and down the line" goal for us. We want to put some of our new dragons front and center in the Monster Core to build some of our own scaly friends and foes!

I'm still confused of whats difference between diabolic dragons and the hell/abaddon/abyss themed planar dragons? :O

Well, dang, now you got me pretty hyped. :) The new books actually might (might... no promises) make me look into getting into buying some 2E stuff, so if you are planning some Runelord related stuff, that would fit right into those plans.

Maybe Bounded Prince needing to consume [spoilers] to return is actually a thing?

(either way I don't think parties who rescued his soul would derail entire 2e abaddon future plot line or whatever it is xD)
