We will probably run our current 5e campaign to completion (as we already have all the books we need, so why not use them?), but I don't think I will have too much trouble persuading my group to go for PF2e rather than OneD&D when we get to our next campaign, as they would be having to get new books either way.

The Pathfinder books being sold now, are they from the latest printing? 4th printing, I believe. I have several copies of the 1st printing hardcover and pocket, but I am thinking that I may want at least one print copy with all of the current errata. I know that the PDF's update, but I do like a good physical copy. Thanks for any response.

The hardcover* is the 4th printing and just started shipping this past Monday.

I'm not sure which printing the pocket edition is.

And now I've picked up your book and that PDF. I already had the starter set so consider me invested. Wizard's non-pology followed by an FAQ that contradicted everything they claimed they were going back on just seals it all the more. I hope for Paizo's success, but not quite like Wizards. I don't want Paizo to dominate tabletop, I want a myriad of game systems with competitive popularity. Maybe we can get that to happen if your license does what you've promised. I was worried before (and still am, no telling what Hasbro might do), but I'm far more hopeful today.

Had hoped to make the switch, but realized it is on print copies only. Sadly can't afford the shipping on the 6 books I was going to get. If the sale expands to include PDFs, then I will happily jump in.

Doesn't work for the Foundry or PDF editions of Beginner's Box, but I don't care, the 15% HOLIDAY23 code still works.

Going to be running 3 separate groups through the BB at least, then after that I'm not sure how much time I have IRL to follow up with Abomination Vaults, but Paizo, if you're going to financially commit to creating an ORC you won't own for our sake, we as DMs will do our part to help cushion the blow for yours.

Guys, I had faith in you, and you nat 20'd this! The time of the #ORC is at hand! I didn't play PF2E … but I'm gonna be playing it now! I ordered before the discount—beginner box and … my books have gotta be PDFs.

That said, I kinda want a Starfinder box as well, probably this summer. But if you add it to the coupon code, it'll be now in January. I'm putting my money where my mouth is. WotC had their chance. Will need to find people who can tell me which books I'll need beyond that to play both, but I'm sure I'll find that easily enough.

They are separate products so you have to buy them both.

In the future, if you subscribe to a Paizo product line, you can get a free PDF along with your subscription item. But once a product is published, the PDF is a separate purchase.

The ONE D and D VTT is looking more and more like an online videogame with potential for microtransactions. My prediction is that this HASBRO VTT will attract peeps from the World of Warcraft online game seeking to be labelled as table top players. Whilst, the true table top players will migrate more and more to PAIZO and third party games :-)

I was going to buy the starter and the core rules $74.98 but delivery to the UK is $76. Would buy locally but it seems the UK has sold out haha. Go ORC.

Well, got some of the books now I need to either start a group…after I read the rules…or find one. We are done with WOTC. Oh and thanks for the free world background. I will use it for the home brew campaign as a model to outline mine. Reading on Russia cause a certain war. Well, age of troubles, Ivan the terrible and the secret police just scream fantasy setting.

I believe the latest is the 4th printing.

I got the world guide and the PDF of the Core rules. International shipping is too much or I would have got a printed copy too.

The PF2 Core Rulebook Pocket Edition (and Silver Crusade pin) I've ordered cannot be delivered soon enough lol. Starfinder is next. I'm looking forward to my first Pathfinder game. I didn't know how hardcore the Paizo (and 3pp) systems and players are. Man, I've been missing out. I also appreciate the warm welcome from this community. j/s

So if someone bought books at their LFGS, would it still be possible to get the pdf discount on platforms like Foundry and Roll20 with some form of receipt? MTG and D&D kinda keep their lights on, so I felt it a good idea to support them in these trying times. Cheers, Brian

Unfortunately, purchasing the print edition of a Paizo product does not get you any discounts on the PDF version of that product, even if you buy it through the Paizo store here on this site.

There are two ways to get PDFs at a discount
1) Subscribe to that product line here (Rulebooks, Lost Omen Setting, Adventure Paths, Maps, etc).
If you are a subscriber at the time the item is released, you will get a free PDF of the item once it has shipped to you.

2) Watch for sales here on the Paizo site. Often there are sales codes for some of the products near PaizoCon, GenCon and around the holidays.

You can use the same code on another transaction. I got the pdf at first and then went back to make a purchase with 25% off.

Not only did my dead computer make me miss the big controversy over the OGL and its potential replacements, but I also missed out on the Lost Omens World Guide free PDF. :(

I played DnD for years and I would like to say I fell in love pathfinder 4 years ago it was in a certain place that would not let hard cover books in. I joined a few guys that were playing pathfinder and they had soft covered books and fun learning the system and now with 2e out im going to try to to GM my own .....keep up the great work paizo..
