I do hope we'll get info about a possible beauty salon run by either Shelyn's or Calistra's faithful. :D

I'm not happy about you "chasing whales" with going after the luxury market... but maybe you need to to keep the lights on enough for normal products.

Why not both? Competing viciously -- yes, I know being vicious isn't Shelyn's thing, but you can be sure that between the doctrine-dictated treachery of the Calistrians and various other deities taking advantage of the opportunity to create heresies(*), it would get ugly.

(*)Zon-Kuthon: Self-explanatory. Asmodeus: Wants to wreck other faiths by creating heresies, and thus a whole class of Devils devoted to this. Abadar: Wants to make everything a matter of profit, and corner the market. And it keeps going on . . . .

It isn't really them chasing it though is it? This is just what B&G do, I wager they approached paizo with a license and publication deal.

What exactly is your issue, do you take offense that q-workshop sells expensive dice branded for pathfinder, or the coins? How about the card decks that paizo sells themselves, I mean... Costs a lot of money to get all of them.

I've been asking B&G to do pathfinder stuff on every one of their surveys after their D&D products. I've bought most of them and I don't even play 5e, since I really want to support that niche market and the artwork/props are often still re-useable in some contexts even if its the wrong stat block on the reverse, etc.

I'd still vastly prefer to see an Adventure Path get the Gold/Platinum treatment instead of a campaign setting style book. The splitting of a hardcover to multiple chapter based softcovers is also a negative to me -- splitting a single hardcover to "story", "maps", and "bestiary" softcovers would be a huge win for me, instead, but I doubt they'd change their model. For me the benefit is being able to have multiple books open at once when needed, rather than having to flip back and forth (especially an issue with large dungeons complexes where the map and the descriptions get quite far apart.

I love the idea of big exciting exclusive products like this. They aren't the type of product I'd buy for myself, but if I had a GM running a game in Absalom I'd ask the other players if we all wanted to chip in and get this for them!

Will the GM screen for it available as a standalone purchase? I would very much like to have it, but I do no have 300 bucks to put on the gold edition.

To clarify, this is Beadle and Grimm's product and that is their call. That said, premium products are usually all or nothing. My old marketing 101 class would say no, but nobody likes Business Majors anyway. ;)
