Beadle and Grimm's Complete Character Chronicle update.

We launch our kickstarter on the 27th, and we wanted to reach out and give you an update on our progress.

But first, maybe it's best to remind you what it is we're up to. We here are Beadle & Grimm's are building something that we think is unique, and more to the point, something that as gamers ourselves, we've always wanted.

The Complete Character Chronicles is a class specific role playing journal for Pathfinder 2e. What does that mean? It means that we took your character sheet, the rules you need from your character, and an expansive journal, and combined them into one book.

The Character Sheet: 20+ pages (depending on the class) with plenty of room for feats, skills, notes, equipment, loot, and home-brew content. All on heavy paper and a lay-flat binding to stand up to years of use.

The Rules: All the rules from the Core Rulebook and Advanced Player's Guide you need to play your character. If you're a Wizard, you get all the Wizard spells, and just the Wizard spells.

The Journal: Pages of room to tell your story. Beautifully illustrated, with inspirational quotes from the heroes of Pathfinder. Includes additional class specific elements, like a fold out map you can use to build your Wizard's keep.

I'm mostly courious how well these will function for Mutlticlass or heavily Archetyped PCs, but this sounds great.

All my players use their phones, but I wouldn't mind having them. It is worth a look. I wonder it the Kickstarter will affect the length and content, or is that set already?

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm pretty much a forever GM and I'll still be picking up one for each class that's available.

OK, so they're starting with the core 4 classes and adding more via the Kickstarter as stretch goals I'm assuming.

We’re starting with Wizard, Fighter, Cleric, and Rogue. As part of the Kickstarter, you’ll get to help unlock the next group of classes.

Hi Cyfer, this is Bill from B&G. Thanks for asking. The length and content of the books is pretty set. There are a few cool features that we're hoping will get unlocked in the Kickstarter (the whiteboard in particular!), but basically we wanted to offer the best possible version of the books right out of the gate, regardless of how the KS goes. This is our first Paizo product and we want you to love it. :) Thanks again for your interest and let me know if there are any other questions I can answer!

I feel like this would also be perfect for a PFS character you love so much you play them on slow progression.

I echo Unikatze will there be PDFs with the physical books?

If this does well is there a possibility Pathfinder Adventure Paths will get some of the deluxe treatment you have given D&D?

The collector in me will want all of them and I just can't afford to spend more on books I never read!

Whiteboard, as in an overgrown combat pad? Man, I just bought a TV for this purpose, but I will have to seriously consider the whiteboard if that is indeed what it is for, especially if it is magnetic.

Yes! We are dying to do a premium box for an adventure path, and Paizo is excited as well. Definitely in the plans. Glad to hear you're interested! :)

I daresay most people who knew your company's work have been extremely interested in this when they first heard about your collaboration with Paizo.

Full disclosure : I did not know about your company before this collaboration was announced. Likely due to being an international (French) customer. Glad to have found out.
