Archon Studios begins shipping the second wave of Starfinder miniatures on December 16, Wave 2 includes Ferani Nadaz (Downside Kings boss), Obozaya (Vesk Soldier), Anacite Laborer (robot), Ryphorian Skyfire Pilot, Skittermander, and Luwazi Elsebo (Starfinder Society). Check out the sculpts below.

Head over to the Archon Studio website and prepare for adventure!

Kickstarter Backer Purchases: Backers who purchase any Starfinder mini from Archon Studio—whether that’s a new mini or a duplicate of a Kickstarter mini—will also receive any released Kickstarter miniatures due to that backer for no additional charge. Miniatures purchased through the Archon Store are shipped by Archon Studio worldwide. Make sure to include your pledge details during checkout.

Kickstarter Backers That Do Not Purchase: Approximately every 6 waves, Archon Studio will send out miniatures to backers at no charge. Archon Studio will be fulfilling backers in Europe, and Ninja Division will be shipping to the rest of the world. Paizo does not have specific answers to fulfillment questions: if you’re a backer with a question about your Kickstarter products, you’ll need to post the question to the Starfinder Masterclass Kickstarter page.

Glad to see some of these minis coming out finally. The sculpts in general look pretty good and I'm excited to order a few and see the quality in person.

That Skittermander is unfortunately horrifying though...

The skittermander looks way less terrifying when painted a nice, helpful pastel pink or purple.

Any chance you have a picture of a painted copy?

You sure that "Skittermander" isn't some horrifying cousin monster from Alien Archives 4. It looks like someone ripped the skin from its face.

I did compare it to the Alien Archive picture and its matches most of the image. The big issue seems to be the teeth on the upper jaw look like they are outside the mouth hence the no skin look. And the eyes are bigger.

The title of this blog on the Paizo Blog page is wrong -- it duplicates the humble bundle blog title there.

I also am worried about that skittermander sculpt... it looks way more ferocious than a real skittermander would! The teeth are part of it but not the only thing.

I have, however, ordered an extra so I can see in person just how it turned out and experiment with fixes. Minis do look a lot different with some paint, so that's my first hope. And there may be easy things we can do to modify it further.

The team has updated this, but it may hold up in cache for a little while, so you may not see the change right away.

I really do hope that skittermander looks better painted. It does not look like a skittermander. The head shape is wrong. It is missing its ears. Its teeth are attached to its lips instead of being inside of its mouth. The expression also does not flatter the sculpt as it makes it look like the skittermander is snarling.

I can understand if it doesn't look quite right. The design seen in the Alien Archive is difficult to recreate. Even much of the newer official art and merchandise fails to fully capture the adorable alien hamster look.

The phrase I believe you are looking for is .. bloody terrifying.. an Exoian Skittermander perhaps?

Plus.. I only see four arms.. not six

I do like Zo!, the Half Elf and the Elf a lot.. the Seeker is awesome

I can't really tell from the video, but in the photograph at the beginning of this blog, the skittermander definitely has three left hands.
