2 great minis - Caiden and the Bartender - and one nice but almost useless one.
Dont get me wrong - i like it,but at 1 per case it's usefulness is limited.
Also a long table would be useful outside of a bar and is the kind of table shown on most maps - but there is always the possibility for that in the next set or a furniture pack.
The bartender is from the back of the NPC Codex i think and CC has been shown a lot in that dashing pose.
It is great that we continue to get more gods (i think Lamashtu was the first) and i applaud your inclusion of this one especially in an Inn themed set.
May i suggest 1 or 2 gods per set to take the place of the iconics?
Another great rare mini would be a main character from a Pathfinder Tales Novel and either his/her partner or nemesis.
Also you are right about the one missing rare and the two dressing pieces but there is still the issue of the King Irovetti and Feiya replacement minis that are 1 per case.
Thank you for a great preview again, Eric!

Super excited for these, especially the Bartender!
It's a good thing Cayden Cailean is fairly generic... I'm not sure how useful he'd be to me otherwise. I don't have much use for Lamashtu, either. The only true god I anticipate having use for is Iomedae.
Also, echoing the love for Pathfinder Tales characters. Many of them would fill important Pathfinder roles, such as a human alchemist or tiefling brawler. I hear there's a Hellknight novel coming up with a tiefling protagonist - a miniature for her would be terrific!

...this Medium table is just one of a handful of useful bits of dungeon dressing spread out through the set (others include the previously previewed wagon, cart, and bed). I suspect a lot of folks would appreciate more tables than just the one they're likely to get in the set. As with the bed we previewed last week, I'll see what I can do about getting a promotional repaint, but there is not currently one in the works. But there may be more news on this in the next couple of weeks...
It would be great if the table could be made as a promotional repaint. On the plus side, it looks like a fairly inexpensive mini to make and not a lot of time needed to paint it.
I would also like to see a rectangular table in the future, but for now 1 to 2 dozen of these will be perfect for my needs.

Yeah, one table doesn't do me much good. I'm going to need a bar full. I have rectangle tables from Dwarven Forge, but someday, some Paio ones would be nice, too. But for now, I just need a whole lot of rounds, please.
Maybe the "repaint" could have the generic brown paint job - because, in the end, that's going to be the one we can buy a lot of - and the one in the box could be special in some way - have a plate or bottle on it, a big stain (blood, booze, whatever), a different kind of nicer wood, etc.

The table looks great. I agree that a repaint version would see a lot of orders (and a lot of use).
I wish the barkeep was less tart like. When my daughter and her friends are playing Pathfinder together, I'd love to have more examples of non-adventurer NPC female minis to bring onto the table that represent a broader range of female professions, ages and body types.

I know it's been said already but one table is kind of pointless. A bar with one table seems sort of silly.
I think Dungeon Dressing pieces are high enough in demand to place them in uncommon and rare scarcity.
Not yet for this set sadly but the rectangular table could be an uncommon in the next set.
Please make it happen Eric.

Rarity on these items is not up to me. I know the current model is meant to be a tentative "toe in the water" test in case people didn't like these items.
That doesn't appear to be much of a problem, but ultimately it is not up to me.
Just trying to think outside the box here... It does appear from the Goblin Bank and the newly released Pathfinder Goblin Figures, that Paizo has sourced out a manufacturer of painted plastic items. While Paizo does have an exclusive contract with WizKids for the production of pre-painted miniatures, would pre-painted terrain items be included in this? Could Paizo make pre-painted tables, wagons, chairs, altars and beds outside of the WizKids contract?
If so, this would allow for a great opportunity to produce whatever items Paizo wants and believes that there is a demand for (albeit at greater risk).
For one-off items like cauldrons and iron maidens, I think they are fine staying as part of the WizKids lines, but for items that are in high demand it would great to be able to satisfy that demand outside of the rigid structure that WizKids seems to impose from time to time. It would be great to see a new line of "Pathfinder Tabletop Accessories".
I really wish all the Rusty Dragon Inn items could have been produced separately as I would like to have multiples of all of them. It appears that we will be paying dearly for the tables on the singles market, as it sounds like demand is going to far exceed the supply. The cost of buying a few extra wagons, carts, beds and tables is probably going to cost me the same as buying a whole case (and I haven't even seen the last 2 items which are probably going to be just as great as the first 4!) Also if there was a way to make these separately, then future larger terrain offerings like the bar set could also be made as a Tabletop Accessory rather than being a set incentive item. (I like the bar, I just like gargantuan minis more).
Other unique set items could include furniture/terrain items for a "wizard's library", "alchemist's workshop", "demon summoner's temple" or "smith's workshop".

For people wanting cheap tables and chairs (and beds, and bookcases), 2 options, both of which require a bit of work on your end: (1) make your own out of cardstock. Fat Dragon Games' village sets (for instance) have tables and chairs that you can print out, cut up, fold, and glue together ad infinitum. When I made my cardstock version of the Lucky Monkey Inn I made tons of furniture, which I can now reuse for whatever.
Or, (2) you can buy the new tables, benches, beds, and other furniture pieces that Reaper just released as Bones. They're pretty cheap, and they're as easy to paint as it gets. (I myself use 3 colors -- a base coat and 2 dry brush layers -- and a sealant for the tables and benches, but you could get by with a single color if you like.) You don't even need to prime them. Heck, I bet you could "paint" them with a brown sharpie! (Though I haven't tried it myself.)

Thank you for the insight, Eric.
I agree with the strategy of testing the dungeon dressing pieces in 2 sets before changing anything.I also share Kor's sentiment that the dressing pieces in dungeons deep were satisfying at 1 per case but the so far revealed 4 from TRDI are so versatile as to warrant a far greater demand.
I would gladly buy boxed terrain sets.
Maybe something can be worked out about that in the future.
Thank you again for your work,Eric. The world of prepainted plastic minis and a lot of roleplaying game sessions would be a duller place without your achievements.

Wizkids once did a couple of sets of prepackaged terrain for their Mage Knight line (called Artifacts, if I remember right.) I have no idea how they did in the stores, but I know they're still very much in demand on Ebay. The first set they released in particular had a lot of really useful pieces (including a table and 4 chairs.) The second set was considerably more niche.

It really says a lot when I associate the last miniature not with a god but a certain VC ^^
I'm not a mini buyer, but I am very tempted to try and acquire a mini TOZ just I can have him around to ask for logical common sense answers when I'm rolling 1s.
I'm sure he could also vanquish my fearsome Bill the Cat plushie & his yellow duckie life preserver (minor artifact, a re-purposed hair scrunchie).

Mage Knight Artifacts Set #1 is highly useful with 2 tables, 4 chairs, a throne, a pair of columns, and a few other bits. A few years ago, a game shop I frequented marked down the set to $5; I snapped up 4 of them specifically for the tables and chairs. Now they will see use with the new bar incentive! The set is now harder to find and most eBay sellers mark it up to around $50.

Warning: I cannot for the life of me convince WizKids to make chairs at the moment, so I strongly suggest using alternative methods if chairs are important to you. There will be _no_ chairs in Pathfinder Battles for the foreseeable future.
Thank you for trying and giving us the info, Eric.
Can you show us King Irovetti, Feiya and maybe some actual mini photos or the Iconic Heroes set computer renderings - the time till january 27th is so long without your previws.

If I recall correctly from the past sets, Erik may now follow up with photos of either the paint masters or the actual minis now.
