Heh. I definitely want to see the plant creature over the animal. Looks like a leshy? But regardless, looks intelligent, so automatically of more interest. Curious about Outsider A and Outsider B, the undead looks kind of cool but I generally like fey more. Went with the humanoid definitely because humanoids are generally going to be more influential in a setting since they usually have a society and culture...besides, Outsider C's description sounds like an aeon. Maybe an inevitable. Went with Magical Beast A, though Myth Lord's insights are making me think Magical Beast B would be interesting too, so I won't mind losing there...the silhouette made it look ugly and deformed...

I suspect the red panda is a normal red panda, and will be part of the B5 familiars section.
That may actually be whats going for the mantis shrimp (they'd be the right size for an aquatic familiar), but I'm really hoping for a colossal mantis shrimp that explodes boats.
I really hope that its a Dire Mantis Shrimp, not a fan of the real world animals in monster manuals. But both being in is also good, but then I hope the picture is from the Dire Mantis Shrimp, I mean why would you choose the picture of a normal mantis shrimp over a dire one? On google everyone can find pictures of normal ones but not from dire ones.
And i'm so happy to see my favorite poster back... At least I don't have to click and see who favorized al that stuff I guess.

Will we be seeing psionic dragons like the old gem dragons. I always thought they were neat.
Psst, Psionic Dragons for Pathfinder are here. Or, if you want print, they are here.

I believe they've said the dragons for Bestiary 5 are going to be related to some of the occult planes; the dream dragon and the nightmare dragon have been name-dropped (and dream dragon shown here). Since Paizo usually restricts themselves to one kind of dragon for more bestiaries barring the first one, I doubt we'll be getting gem dragons, though I wouldn't be surprised if they have some psychic abilities...

I think putting them both in the Bestiary 5 would be good, as then both have what they want.
But I would find it strange if the artwork choice would be the normal mantisshrimp and not the dire one.
They would have to explain that to me if they would do it as the internet is full of normal mantis shrimp pictures.
But familiars are MOSTLY pictures with a owner, I mean the fox was with a Paizo celebrity character and the previous familiar in bestiary 3 too. So I hope and pray this is the Dire MantisShrimp silliouette.

This is probably the image Dragon78 is referring to. We know male ratfolk are generally between 3'9" and 4'3", on average 4' tall (females being 3" shorter on average, but it looks like a male to me). Not counting the tail, I'd say the rat creature is about one and a half times as long as the rat would be standing up straight, maybe one and two-thirds, though that's just a guesstimate, which would put it around six to seven feet long, not counting the tail, presuming the ratfolk is average height for a ratfolk, which I think puts it comfortably at Medium.

The dire mantis shrimp can be both awesome and boat-destroying, and a vermin companion. Since animal companion stats are weaker versions of the normal creature... though I doubt they'll put in any vermin companions.
Yeah I doubt they will ever touch on Vermin companions ever again but I can get my hopes up. There just weren't that many decent options for someone who wanted to run a verminous hunter but didn't want to use scorpion or mantis

How can a sea creature be a land familiar? Im sure the mantisshrimp isnt a familiar. Because it cant travel on land. It only works in underwater adventures.
1. You're the only one talking about familiars. Everyone else is talking about vermin companions.
2. There are underwater familiars such as Dolphins, octopodes and pufferfish.
