I'm also interested to know if we'll see other release in the Evolution line. I'm also curious about encounter pack, I realy liked the reign of winter's one
Erik has not come out and said NO to future Evolution lines. But he and others have hinted that the sales numbers were not quite at the level where Wizkids was enthusiastic about continuing the line (at least as regular thing). Considering we've seen the Green Dragon already appear in the Large-sized miniature form in the regular Battles line (post Evoution series releases), it's reasonable to think that we might not see the remainder of the line for some time.
Erik also said the Frost Worm in the encounter pack was from a previously canceled idea or set. I think he hinted that there were other such ideas (that had been changed or cancelled). However, as with everything Paizo does when it comes to miniatures, the release of such things likely hinges on how wiling Wizkids is to produce said products.
Huge-sized creatures in general are highly requested, especially by fans on here (and other boards). But finding a practical way to implement them in a way that Wizkids feels confident in making them and selling them is a different matter. After all, for every DM or collector that badly wants to see Paizo dip into the Huge-sized market (again), there are those who don't care.
Erik has stated several times he'd love to be able to get a set of Huge Elementals to be given the green light by Wizkids. But so far it sounds like that hasn't been a realistic option. If Huge Elementals, long one of the most requested subsets of Huge-sized miniatures, could be such a hard sell, it indicates finding a viable way to sell other Huge miniatures might not yet be in the cards.

A dire boar, really? Another big red dragon... Come on guys, some of us have all the wizards minis and don't need reprints.
Yeah, yeah these are nicer models and better painted by frankly I don't need any of this stuff. You guys know what's been released before so why not stick to pathfinder monsters and stuff that wizards didn't make?
It has to be better for sales - if anyone wants a dire boar mini just google it and it's yours already.
I'm finding your policy of pretending the D&D stuff doesn't exist utterly infuriating, which is why having religiously purchased every wizards set (and in the case of some of the first few, multiple sets) I'm not subscribing to your mini's range- not to mention they're overpriced.
Remember Backward Compatibility and it's importance at Pathfinders birth? We already got this stuff. Who the hell needs a dire boar who hasn't already picked some up?
Crazy.

Backward compatiblility is not the issue here. Availability is. The Dire Boar from the DDM line, was released in the Harbinger Set, as a Rare and was hard to come by even 12 years ago and currently goes for between 13$ and 25$ (19$ here on Paizo's Store) on the secondary market (Assuming you want a wild one, The Thunder tusk boar from Desert of Desolation is more moderately priced (6$ here at Paizo), but has the drawback of having a saddle and armor.) A Dire Boar (or any Dire animal really), is something that most DM's are going to need multiples of, something which is not really feasible at 20$ a shot.
As for the Gargantuan Red, it is A) the last Chromatic Dragon to get a Gargantuan Sculpt (And as much as I love My Colossal red, I've only really had call to use it once, but my Gargantuan White and Blue DDM Dragons have seen much use, and my new Paizo ones are likely to see as much (Blue, White, Green, Brinebones, and now Red), B) it is one of the most frequently requested miniatures out there, and, C) as you mentioned, it fits design-wise with the Red evolutions set.
I also have most (not all, I have a few gaps) in my DDM prepaints, and in many cases multiples. Yet I still buy the Pathfinder battles minis (which given the quality are far from over priced, falling in line price wise with getting a similar number of UNPAINTED Reaper or Games Workshop minis, and without requiring me to assemble and paint them). You don't want to buy them that's your bag, but the Pathfinder battles line has only re-trod a small portion of the path laid by the DDM line (which itself did reprints of certain figures as well, Large Blue, Red, and Copper Dragons, Huge Red Dragons, Storm Giants, and Drow, endless freaking drow all come to mind), and is doing quite well apparently without your contribution.

And to add to Leo's point, not all of us have been collecting minis for as long as you have. I only started collecting when PFB got first released. So to answer one of your questions, I am in need of a dire boar (or three) and don't have one yet. And I am almost certain that I am not alone in this.
Chasing after some minis that were released years ago (at occasionally ridiculous costs) is not really my cup of tea.
From what I have seen of some older miniatures those sculpts seem to be far behind in the quality that PFB is putting out, so I am not quite sure I would be willing to pay for that lower quality with the additional effort of having to track them down.

While there are many things I do not care about owning, stuff like the Dire Boar (i.e. normal random encounter material) is always welcome.
More so than yet another winged or creepy-crawley whatever and I really don't care about the secondary market of D&D. I like the quality and I like the matching art style.
But then, I don't need every size of every dragon either.
White can stand in for Silver, Bronze for Brass, Black for Blue...
For me that's as much a matter of money as shelf-space, there is never enough of the stuff.

Leo I agree with almost all your points, but please don't use GW as a metric for price. Particularly in the US and Australia they are drastically overpriced for unpainted average quality minis.
@davrion: the DDM line took a huge dive in quality right around deserts of desolation. You might want to look back on sets like Unhallowed for good DDM products.
