By the way, I've said this elsewhere (and even mentioned it to Wes on Sunday night), but it's traditional to name awards after the first recipient. Hence, I think it should be called the Nightengale Award going foward...
Just my two cents,

P.S. And congrats to all the recipients. Well deserved.

Oh dear god....the Timmies.
I was pretty much blindsided by this award. I pretty much anticipate the "stand-up and be recognized" moment at the banquets for founding PaizoCon, but had NO idea there was a presentation of an award coming. The standing ovation was...sort of overwhelming. I was fighting back the lump in my throat the whole time.
And then, the very next award was for Liz, who I was sitting right next to, which was perfect, because she has been THE driving force in the Paizo Community. Without my Co-Dictator's help, that 1st PaizoCon would not have been as cool as it was. And Wayfinder would not be the polished, excellent fanzine it is today without Liz's guidance as well.
And THEN, Mark Moreland gets an award too! I first met Mark on the boards here, and then at the PaizoCon 2009, where we all rode on his coattails in the 1st ever banquet trivia contest. The rapid fire answers he gave pretty much assures me that they could not have found a more perfect walking Pathfinder encyclopedia to hire!
And to round it out, Doug Miles set a clear example of what a 5-star GM is. The stories of his dedication to promoting PFS and Pathfinder are awe-inspiring. I'm happy that he was recognized as well!
