Yeah, but gold is heavy :P

Some of us keep clear of FAWTL but with the avatars represented there are only a couple that are puzzling me. I know there's The Postmonster, Heathansson, Sharoth, Aberzombie, Urizen, Celestial Healer, Patrick Curtin, Callous Jack, Crimson Jester, Mairkurion, Flash-cxxi, Solnes, Taig and I think Lilith but who are the frost giant, the non-helmeted Drow, and the human(-oid?) standing above Solnes the avatars of?

Who you're confusing for Lilith has to be Lynora.
Frost Giant = Woodraven
Humanoid = Mac Boyce
...and the non-helmeted drow? Hoo-Boy. That's only the guy who presented it to Mr. Postmonster himself: Lord President Moorluck!
"Callous Jack" is actually Jack Hammer, which is an Emperor7 avatar before he reverted back to using E7 more frequently.
Now why would some people want to steer clear of FAWTL? It's a no politics, no religion, no prudes, and no sockpuppet zone. ;-)

Moorluck was my first guess but this thread made me think maybe not. Wasn't at Paizocon anyhow, so I missed the presentation. Looking at it again yeah that would be Lynora, its just that I have seen more posts from Lilith recently so my mind just flashed there rather than Lynora. (Shrug)
As for avoiding FAWTL, it's too damn prolific! In an hour the post count will go up by 100 or more. Too much to keep up with. Besides other threads can be more enjoyable to me.

I wasn't at PaizoCon either; I'm limited to the pictures I see just as you do. =)
But at least it tells me that you're lurking there much more than given self-credit for. And to be honest, there's a # of people that drop in that don't even bother trying to catch up with all the new posts. Especially when you're stepping through a 'mine-field.' Then, I don't blame you. :P

On a daily basis I skip a lot of posts. No one sane could keep up.

O.o

I usually undertake a quick scan when the unread posts reach triple digits. If it's mostly idle convo between two folks you can usually just skip over it. I'm normally pretty good with catching anything directed at me (or people will point it out to me if I miss something)
