Jasper’s Game Week, running from April 30th-May 11th 2021, is a TTRPG streaming event with both streams to watch and games to play run by Jasper’s Game Day (JGD). With our partners Paizo and MiniTerrainDomain and sponsors Ardent Roleplay/Meeples and Dragons, Hearthsinger Games, Penny for a Tale, Lark Adventures, and the Paizo Organized Play Convention, we are raising money for suicide prevention and awareness.

Two weeks ago, we implemented tech that successfully fixed a number of issues with the Achievements Points system. While there are still some tweaks we’d like to make, the system is at a stage where we are ready to introduce Achievement Points for Starfinder Society. We’ve got a few other changes in the pipeline as well, so read on for a full explanation of what’s coming for the Starfinder Society!

In recognition of April as the National Autism Awareness Month in the US and of April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day, we wanted to take a moment to talk about autism and gaming. For this, we reached out to our friends at Game to Grow, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the use of games for therapeutic, educational, and community growth. Game to Grow’s weekly therapeutic social skills groups help approximately 150 participants each week around the world become more confident, creative, and socially capable using games of all kinds. Participants are frequently working on social challenges associated with autism, ADHD, social anxiety, or depression. Playing games in a safe, supportive, and fun environment helps them build meaningful, supportive friendships while developing valuable skills to flourish socially on their own terms. In addition to group services, Game to Grow's comprehensive training program empowers mental health professionals, educators, and community advocates around the world to use innovative game-based strategies to enrich their own communities.

We had glitch gremlins in our hardware last week, so Starfinder Scoured Stars returns tonight, Wednesday April 28, with the ironically-named “Episode 06 | All Systems Go,” at 6 p.m. Pacific on the official Paizo Twitch channel!

Paizo is pleased to announce that Pathfinder One-Shot: Dinner at Lionlodge, a new liveplay adventure, will air at PaizoCon 2021 on Saturday, May 29 at 6 p.m. Pacific at twitch.tv/officialpaizo. It will feature the talents Glass Cannon Network!
