Weary of war and ready for home, Pathfinder Society agents make their ways back to their lodges, eager to see familiar faces and take a moment to breathe and rest before the next mission.
However, within the Grand Lodge, Master of Spells Sorrina Westyr turns an ancient artifact over and over in her hands, thinking about a mysterious temple to Amaznen, the Azlanti god of magic, that rose from the ocean just long enough for a group of agents to retrieve a single artifact:

The Year of Clockwork Mystery!
Sorrina has taken it upon herself to look into this strange artifact that was uncovered during Pathfinder Society Scenario #7-15: Within Antiquated Halls and she’ll need all the assistance she can get! Throughout this upcoming year, we’ll be looking into the intricacies of clockwork magic and enigma with the metaplot arc Clockwork Mystery! These seven metaplot scenarios will be marked with a special metaplot icon on the cover. For more information about the metaplot, upcoming specials, and other new changes, please keep an eye out for future blogs and Paizo Lives!

The metaplot of the Year of Clockwork Mystery starts with Pathfinder Society Intro to the Year of Clockwork Mystery by Kim Frandsen! This will be an adventure for 1st- through 2nd-level characters and will be debuting at Gen Con 2026! Come and join us as we perform some magical experiments on the clockwork compass alongside old friends and new!

Finally, please let me announce some formatting and program changes to our scenarios starting with Year 8!
As of the release of the Year 8 intro scenario, all of our scenarios and quests will be repeatable! This will apply retroactively to all previous scenarios as well.
Additionally, it is with great excitement that I can announce that we are returning to printing full stat blocks in our scenarios! Full stat blocks will be printed alphabetically in the back of our scenarios.
