Your journey to adventure with the Pathfinder Remaster starts with the Player Core, a mighty tome containing all the rules you need as a player to create a character and take them on epic quests! Just as before, making a character is as simple as ABC: picking your Ancestry, Background, and Class!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve given you a look at two new dragons from the Monster Core, due out early next year. And while I'm sure folks are eager to throw a diabolic dragon and a mirage dragon at their players, this week, we wanted to turn our attention to some of the new material you’ll find in the GM Core, a book packed cover to cover with everything a GM needs to run Pathfinder Second Edition!

Welcome to 2023 everyone! With the Second Edition of Pathfinder now in its third year, the folks on the rules team are really thrilled to see how all of you are engaging with the game and telling thrilling stories of adventure with friends and family. Behind the scenes, we’re continuing to make the game as good as it possibly can be by creating brand new content and going back to make sure that our existing books are working the way we intended.

The crowd in front of the vast chasm surrounding the Starstone Cathedral was slightly larger today than most days. Visitors from all over Golarion stopped by the great pit every day to marvel at the ancient edifice at its center, to dream of the stone hidden away behind its massive walls, lethal traps, and immortal guardians. It was said that the Starstone granted immeasurable power to any who could touch its crystalline surface and pass the final test of spirit. Those who succeeded became gods. Most simply fell to their deaths in the chasm outside and the rare few who made it in the cathedral were usually never heard from again.

Creating new rules and expansions for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game takes a lot of work. Over the past year, the design team has been focused on rounding out the core of the game, with the release of the Advanced Player’s Guide and the Beginner Box, and as we continue planning and working on projects for 2021 and beyond, it has become clear that we need more help to continue bringing great additions like these to your game table.

Renowned throughout the River Kingdoms for their amazing feats of daring, the Band of Bravos will take the stage this Friday in the King’s audience hall. These amazing heroes have traveled all across the land, defeating trolls, besting dragons, and defying the undead. Now they are going to regale you with tales of their adventures!
