Oof: Starfinder Society Scenario #1-19 was about The Gap, wasn't it?

I notice that there's still been no response to all the feedback about these changes from the August thread.

I approve of the change. But I do have some issues:

-Why didn't replay get opened up like SFS2? I don't know about you, but I don't see the problem of letting people replay a scenario that's five years old. The idea of story spoilers...that ship sailed long ago.

-For PFS2 I like the shortened scenarios, but sadly it doesn't go far enough. The formula right now seems to be 3 combats plus one skill challenge. The skill challenge is usually something that requires you to sit around and just roll dice for 30-45 minutes and ends up doing nothing but burning up Hero Points. There's no doubt that PF2 is much simpler of a game system than PF1 was. The problem with scenario writing is that while making the game system simpler, the scenarios have become more complex. Don't even get me started on the Influence system. I have only played one scenario where I actually had fun in it and it was back in PF1.

-The currently existing scenarios need to be shortened. Fear not, there is a way to do it. I'm going to reach back to the PF1 era for the solution. Back then you had numerous factions that had separate missions for each faction (they peaked at what 8 factions). It was determined that the macguffin the players were each looking for slowed down the pacing of the scenario as each player would ask about it every five damn minutes. Eventually, the faction missions were simplified and changed.

-My solution: Go through the old scenarios, look at all of the encounters. Then designate one of the encounters as optional. You can run it if you have time or not. There would need to be an errata document published for this just like then the changes to the old faction missions went out.

Congrats to Belor and redeux on those five glyphs!

Also, SFS2 1-19 was finally revealing the secret of The Gap. I can prove it with this 100% verifiable conspiracy theory board. Just follow all the red strings I have connected here, and you can see the truth too!

Yeah if we're reducing playability by narrowing the level range (which I support), we should balance that by making everything repeatable. Or at a minimum, making all the new-style scenarios repeatable.
