Any idea what they are referring to with 'Inspire Confidence' in the Lingering Leitmotif Masterpiece
Effect: You sing or chant simple phrases or a distinctive series of notes that you associate with a specific trade good or service. While you perform these jingles, allies within 30 feet are affected by this performance’s effects and are treated as being affected by your inspire confidence bardic performance. Furthermore, if an affected creature purchases the associated good or service, that creature immediately gains a number of temporary hit points equal to half your bard level.

Most likely it's either actually 'inspire courage' or 'inspire competence'. I don't see an 'inspire confidence'.
Courage and confidence are the most closely related, and that would be a point in inspire courage's favor, but since it makes little sense to be singing advertising jingles and giving your allies and potential customers a +1 morale bonus to attacks, damage, and fear saves, I do not think that's the intended one.
The fact that 'competence' and 'confidence' rhyme and sound similar, leads me to believe that's what was dictated, mispronounced, or mistyped. Since it makes more sense that people around you are inspired to better perform a task or skill (likely intended to be related to the good or service you're shilling), and the fact that the area of effect and radius is more closely matched. Inspire competence is normally one creature, but I think the adding in of the additional bardic performance uses account for the extra targets on the masterpiece.
But that's just my thoughts, opinion, and ruling on the matter.
TL/DR
I think it's referring to Inspire Competence.

that's the closest Paizo ruling you'll get as it is a PPC
all that confidence overcame the competence, kinda...
