My poor Piercing Unarmed Strike Ikon :(

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

Seriously what is with there being no Piercing Damage Unarmed Striking Ikon? There is one for Slashing Unarmed Attacks and one for Bludgeoning Unarmed Attacks but not one of Piercing Unarmed Strikes. I do hope this was an oversight somewhere and not on purpose not that I think Hands of the WIldling is bad for an Ikon it just feels weird that both Gleaming Blade & Titan's Breaker calls out Specific Unarmed Attacks with a certain damage type.

Am I the only one who notices this?

I'm personally going to homebrew one. Make it related to horns and such.

Strange omission indeed.

Nah, I noticed. I wanted a second option for a bite attack.

- Paizo doesn't necessarily strive for symmetry.
- Piercing unarmed attacks are generally the best ones- hands free, and generally the only d8 options.

In my case, I'd consider asking for Barrow's Edge as a thematically appropriate bite option.

Yeah I was going to say, Barrow's Edge would be the best fit. It's just a pity Hands of the Wildling is so bad not just when compared to the other Ikons but also just on its own.
