Shield Bow - Does shield have stats?

The Shield Bow in the Treasure Vault is described as a bow with a shielding surface, but it says nothing about the stats for the shield? Does the shield have a hardness, HP, and BT, or is it assumed that a player will buy a shield separately that is then "incorporated" into the bought bow?

Looks like that's what the Parry trait is there for.

Could shield spikes or a shield boss be added to it?

No, it is most certainly not a "Shield" in any mechanical way, it simply allows you to use the Parry Trait and functionality of it.
