Intercepting / Taking an attack for another PC

I'm still getting the hang of PF2, and I'm not sure whether this is an option RAW; or which class would have it.

I understand the various Champion abilities that let you take a retributive strike against an enemy that attacks your ally - but is there any ability/spell that lets you -take- the hit for your ally?

Feats like Shield Warden will let you use shield block that can protect an ally from some damage.

There is also the spell Champion's Sacrifice, that lets you take all the damage and effects of a hit on an ally.

Yeah, but it's all champion based abilities that spring to mind. And they're more class feat based than being a part of the core class, and they're more focused on using your shield to protect others.

Seconding what Mellack said. For Champion there is Shield Warden and Champion's Sacrifice.

There is also a Divine spell Shield Other.

And while it doesn't do anything as far as damage redirection for a persistent enemy, there is also simply standing in between an ally and an enemy and providing lesser cover. Which will likely cause the enemy to attack you instead of your ally unless the enemy is intelligent and determined to hit the ally.

A GM might allow you to ready an action to interpose yourself in front of an ally when an enemy strikes them. Not RAW, and not very efficient, but the option exists.

There's also the Protector's Sacrifice ability, available to champions and clerics. (Only really worth using on clerics though. Champion's reactions are generally better.)

Additionally, once you've taken Shield Warden, you can back it up with Shield of Grace, which lets you take half of the resulting damage for yourself. It doesn't take a focus point, but it does require you to be level 16.

Now, if you happen to be an evil Champion (and thus got Shield Warden via Bastion Archetype) you can do silly things where you punish your enemy for the temerity of striking you after leaping in front of the blow. That doesn't really sound like what you're looking for, though.

In general, these abilities are thin on the ground, and heavily champion-weighted.
