Does a magus spell strike count as a strike action

I'm looking at the description for the focus spell you get from the level 14 magus class feat for hasted assault . It says you become quickened for one minute but can only use that extra action to perform strike actions. Does spell strike count as a strike action?

No, it means a single Strike, not activities that include a Strike
