Which accessories will remain useful if switching to Remastered?

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

So, I'm probably going to be starting up Abomination Vaults soon, and maybe Sky King's Tomb in July.

I'm tempted to pick up the spell cards for my players, but I'm a bit gunshy since I don't know how many spells are going to be redone.

Has there been any word on whether those are a good purchase or if they will wind up needing new versions after Remastered launches?

I might wait on the spell cards, since one thing we do know is that a lot of spells are getting new names and some of them are being combined with other spells. Like IIRC Faerie Fire and Dancing Lights are going to become one spell.

I could be wrong but I think it's faerie fire/glitterdust and light/dancing lights

Thank you, that probably is the best way to go then.

Light and Dancing Lights are being combined, as are Faerie Fire and Glitterdust. I'm sure you knew that and just forgot, but posting to clarify for others.

Well, it depends. You can run the game fine with the old spells, and both those APs will be using pre-remaster rules. Some spells will functionally be the same, like Magic Missile (which Paizo just has to change the name of), while others will be entirely overhauled (like Divine Lance- cantrips in general seem to be getting a fresh pass).

Hard for me to say, since I don't use the cards. (I use too spells from too many different books for it to be practical.) I'd personally just assume a fifty/fifty split for the purpose of making the decision.
