Shooting a sword with a bow

Rules Questions

I am trying to remember if there is a feat or an ability (possibly mythic, possibly 3PP) that allows to shoot a sword with a bow as if it were an arrow... you know, like Uryu Ishida does in Bleach. Because if there isn't, then I would like to create it. I half remember to have seen something like that somewhere, but I can't remember where...

no such thing exists.

I know that the popular 3pp system Spheres of Power has something like that.

You may treat lances, longswords, and spears as ammunition for longbows, shortbows, light crossbows, and heavy crossbows, being able to draw and load them as though they were ammunition (although they are not destroyed after hitting a target). Using these weapons as ammunition deals additional damage equal to the weapon’s damage die (this additional damage is not multiplied on a critical hit) and you take a -2 penalty on attack rolls made while using these weapons as ammunition.

A regular sword makes an absolutely terrible arrow. Too heavy. Wrong weight distribution. Hilt too likely to catch on bow while being fired. Probably nothing like an arrow's notch on the bottom of the pommel. No fletching, thus no spinning for stabilization.

What "might" be possible is a sword shaped arrow. It'd have to be single edged and shot edge side up. Still sounds like it'd be inferior to a regular arrow in every way.

As another alternatively, you could fluff something like a lightning bow, and have the arrows it creates look like swords.

That was what I was searching for! I knew it was somewhere! Thank you SO much.

It doesn't shoot actual swords, but you can gain a similar damage potential with an orc hornbow. If your GM doesn't allow third-party material.

Alternately, the sharding weapon quality (possibly with distance as well) can be used to make "thrown" attacks with any melee weapon.
