Lately I've been having a lot of trouble with d20pfsrd.com. It's usually fine, but will randomly just start giving me "502 - Bad Gateway" errors and will refuse to load pages. This usually lasts for anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour before going away again.
I sent a bug report to them, but I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problems.

It was fine earlier in the day yesterday, but suddenly around 5pm PST everything but the home page loads for several minutes until landing on that '502 bad gateway' error message. Hit me in the middle of a session!
EDIT: Navigating some links from the home page does properly load the page, but only some- most still load forever and then give the 502 error.

Why not use AoN, the official Paizo-endorsed resource?
d20pfsrd is so full of ads… I just loaded their home page and let it sit for a couple minutes and see that my browser has blocked 59 trackers. There are 40 errors in my console, most of which are for serving more ads. They also strip out Paizo-specific stuff like deities which can make it difficult for those using a Golarion setting.
(If you search google and add "+ AON" after your term the AoN link will appear at the top; example).

Mostly I use both resources but d20pfsrd is far better for quick reference rules and combat effects while archives is better for acting as a true full catalog of feats, traits, etc.
Boiled down to the simplest point: Archives of Nethys is wonderful if you don't mind navigating the search function, whereas d20's search function just works right away.

I mean, honestly, it's mostly because I found d20pfsrd first, but also I prefer d20pfsrd's much cleaner interface. AoN's design is ugly and cluttered. I can't even tell what's a link and what's normal text because they made it all look the same.
The ads on d20pfsrd don't bother me because I use AdBlock. And I don't care about the deities because I homebrew all setting material anyway.
But if d20pfsrd is going to refuse to work, then I might have to switch over.

Needing adblock to make a site usable is not an argument in its defense. Every time people bring up pfsrd’s aggressive ads, this is what we hear. “Just use adblock.”
Personally I turn off adblock for sites I want to support.
If you like their cleaner interface and believe they are providing a worthwhile service for your homebrew game… why take away their ability monetize? Let them load their gazillion ads; it's their whole business model after all.

Personally, I use both. Archives of Nethys is limited to official Paizo material, so if I want to include 3rd party material, there is a chance that d20pfsrd has it.

So no one has a reason why PFSRD isn't working correctly currently?
Might just want to reach out to their support? They're not really affiliated with Paizo other than hosting the meterial from the books.

I don't even use them for that. Library of Metzofitz and the Spheres of Power/Might wiki cover the most commonly used or requested 3pp content and are more complete with them and marginally better organized.

Ooh -- Thank you very much for pointing me to the Library of Metzofitz.

I put in a support ticket before I even made this post. I still have yet to hear back.
