Evangelist Spells - Peacemaker - Mediator = What works and what doesn't

Rules Questions

QUESTION ONE

I am looking for clarity on what Evangelist spontaneous spells work with Peacemaker and Mediator

I made a google sheet to make it easier, but here is a breakdown anyway:

Peacemaker wrote:
The DC to resist spells you cast to ensure peace or force aggressive creatures to become peaceful increases by +2. This affects spells that dissuade creatures from aggressive actions without exerting long-term or absolute control over them, and without leaving them defenseless. These spells include, but are not limited to, calm animals, calm emotions, command, compassionate ally, enthrall, euphoric tranquility, sanctuary, and serenity.

Mediator wrote:
You receive a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks. In addition, you receive a +1 trait bonus to the DC of any charm or compulsion effect that does not provide ongoing control and results in peaceful acts, such as calm emotions, sleep, or a suggestion to lay down arms.

QUESTION TWO

What other notable spells work with Peacemaker and/or Mediator?

Liberty's Edge

Please, link Archive of Nethys, not D20. Besides AoN being the official reference for Pathfinder, D20 has advertising and requires you to update your privacy preferences often.

That said, I think the reply to all those spells is "it depends".
You list "Command" as yes as it is listed in the feat, but as a GM my reply will be: "Depends on the Command, if you use approach to force an opponent into provoking several AoP while approaching you, you aren't ensuring peace or forcing aggressive creatures to become peaceful, you are doing your best to kill them."

Mediator has that even in the example spells: "a suggestion to lay down arms."

From my point of view, as both the feat and the trait say in the benefit section that the effect is linked to ensuing peace, the intention when casting the spell matter.

D20 or nothing with me. Lets appreciate the effort I put into the question compared to the norm.

So they all apply based on what is being asked of them is peaceful. Mediator doesn't work with command because it is a continuous save?

Peacemaker should work even on spells that aren't charms or compulsions. As an example, an illusion used to stop a battle would be harder to disbelieve.

Mediator will work with Command; it has a single save and lasts a round.
It will not work with Charm Person, as it influences a person for a long time.
The idea, I suppose, is of spells that give a few minutes of respite to quell the animosity.

The limit is "does not provide ongoing control", so it will work even with Hold person, but not with Greater Command (it gives several rounds of control), any Charm, Domination, etc.
