The pathfinder 2e beginners box is a great value and a great way to learn pathfinder 2e.
With all the new interest in Pathfinder 2e, with nearly a dozen people doing beginner's box openings in the last 24 hours on youtube. I wanted to point out to all the new people coming to Pathfinder 2e that the value of the beginner's box doesn't stop at the box. around the time of its original release, Paizo added lots of free content around the town of Otari in the beginner's box, in the form of blog posts. you can find that content in the link below.

Free Otari content.

In addition, there is a sequel adventure to the one in the beginner's box.

Troubles-in-Otari .

In addition, Paizo did a live play of the beginner's box.

Troubles in Otari Live play .

The very popular adventure path, the Abomination Vaults, also takes place near Otari. Available as a hardcover book or in separate chapters, also available for that other game.
Abomination Vaults.

Don't forget to pick up other free adventures from Paizo.

Welcome to Pathfinder 2e.

I have created Beginners Box Character Creation guides on Google Slides that could be used for making PCs following the BB rules.

I also made a Beginner Box GM deck on slides, which can be used for play-by-post (a great way to learn the system especially if you don't have time for a live game!).

In fact there is a free play-by-post con happening soon — there will likely be several BB tables. It's a perfect opportunity to learn 2e in a friendly, slower environment.

I don't see folks mention it much, but I was thinking about it the other day. There is a pretty major tonal shift towards horror when entering into AV from BB and/or Troubles. That's the sort of thing my group is into, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. I could even see Chapter 3 of Troubles crossing into that realm too.
