I need a refresher on how prestige works...

...for the players and for the GM. So what I think, is that you get the same number of prestige points as you do experience, but I can't find anywhere in the guide to organized play that talks about it.

2/5 5/5 **

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens Subscriber

It is awarded based on success criteria defined near the end of a PFS scenario (usually 2 for Primary and 2 for Secondary Success Conditions and sometimes an extra 1 or 2 for specific faction conditions). In this case, the GM earns all available prestige. The PCs earn whatever amount they earn.

If it is a sanctioned adventure, the sanctioning document will tell you how much you get. In this case, the GM and PCs earn the same amount.

Scarab Sages 3/5 *** Venture-Captain, Wisconsin—Franklin

Is this prestige in 1E or Fame in 2E?

In 1E, the scenario should list a primary and secondary objective after the conclusion. Each is worth one.

2E, there's also a primary and secondary. Each being worth 2. There's faction-based stuff that may grant more depending the scenario.

This is for some of level 1 bounties. I can't find anywhere it there where it says how much prestige they receive.

Specifically The Whytefang Wyrm, Blood of the Beautiful, and Shadows and Scarecrows.

Some of the bounties are more "Open for anyone, not just Pathfinder society members" type and adventures. Nice for experience and treasure, but not always catching the attention of the Society factions.

So some bounties don't grant any prestige, fame, or reputation. Just the gratitude of the local village.

Oh thanks. I thought I remembered scenarios having a place where they told you how much prestige you got but it's been like 5 years since I ran anything.
