No psychopomp summoning spells?

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

It has come to my attention that (aside from Summon Lesser Servitor) there's no summoning spell for psychopomps (or any other true neutral monitor/outsider that may exist).

This post is intended to double check that I am correct and am not overlooking something, and if so to draw attention to the deficit so that it might be added.

Create Undead?

I mean, it wouldn't work for any of the other kinds of true neutral outsiders, and it's kind of slow and unreliable, but....

Create undead doesn't work since psychopomps are not undead.

...and creation is not summoning. But if you want to make psychopomps show up, and magic is the tool you have....

Summon Axiom and Summon Anarch allow the character to summon Monitors.

This the question explicitly being about True Neutral Monitors.

Is that possible, incidentally? Do True Neutral Monitors even exist as a thing?

Psychopomps.

Also previously Aeons, when PF2 released they turned Lawful Neutral.

Right, I missed the N part.

Here's the psychopomp list ( all psychopomp are N ).

So it's sounding like there are no Neutral Monitors who are not psychopomps?

Beyond that, for spells? I'm seeing two options, both at level 10.
- Open a Gate to the Boneyard, and holler.
- Wish. It contains both "Duplicate any spell from the arcane list of 9th level or lower to which you have access." and "Produce any effect whose power level is in line with the above effects." Summoning a psychopomp is of power level in line with summoning an equivalent anything else, and the Arcane list certainly has plenty of summon spells to be equivalent in power to.

Admittedly, I'm pretty sure that's actually an answer of "no" for all practical purposes, but it's at least technically possible to cast a spell and have it result in summoning a psychopomp.

I mean, other spells that summon outsider don't call forth an actual pre-existing version of that outsider who had other things that they needed to get done today. So it's not like you'd be pulling psychopomps away from their jobs.

Wayfinders

1e Pathfinder did have Summon Lesser Psychopomp and Summon Vanth, both from a rather obscure source (Adventure Path backmatter), so there certainly is historical precedent, but yeah, this does strike me as a potential gap - Pharasmin clerics and psychopomp summoners alike would both appreciate it, I think.

Thankfully it's easy to homebrew, at least. Doesn't really help folks doing pFS though.

Yet more hiccups for Neutral divine characters.
