On page 46 of the AP under "encounter sites" it mentions there are four traits for hex encounters: landmark, resource, standard, and secret. However, I found one not mentioned anywhere called "hidden." The earliest I found this trait is on Page 59 (GB3) and I can't find it anywhere online. Until I get official word from Paizo, I'll be using the rules for the secret trait, I suppose.

The AP doesn't officially come out for a month, so only backers would have access to it now. Also, you should ask about AP specific rules in the AP specific forum.
Good question. Checking it and some of the encounters that include that trait, it's probably an earlier name for the Secret trait that got changed in development and not all the instances got caught.
It is possible that it's a new encounter trait that doesn't otherwise get referenced, which is far less likely, but given that the encounters that include the trait seem to give details on how it can be "unhidden", the specifics of the trait probably don't matter too much.
