Share your amazing kineticist moments!
Our 11th-level air/earth kineticist just used his air blast critical element to unseat a nightmare hag from her greater nightmare steed, causing her to fall into the dogpiling party. Later in the same fight, the fighter readied an action to smash the nightmare with his hammer, while the kineticist used Flinging Updraft to hurl the fighter 60 feet up into melee range of the flying nightmare.
It was amazing fun!
Being able to summon rock walls constantly and constantly be shifting people around every round was amazing.
Is that Earth and water combo? Or Earth and air? I don’t remember all the powers off hand
Battlefield control seems like an unexpected plus point for the Kineticist . And really rather cool as well as being super useful

Yeah, my general opinion is that only some of the blasts, as printed, are in anything like a good spot. But a lot of battlefield control and utility stuff is great. I still think we should have some aoe blasts, I just want them to actually be impactful enough to be worth the actions. They're the option you use when there's multiple enemies, not your all the time tool. (or if they have useful side effects, etc)
Part of the problem is that as printed Kineticist is the worst martial at actually making strikes - all the other martials with non-STR/DEX KAS have a damage boost baked into the class. Most of the ones who get STR/DEX KAS also have a damage boost (Monk gets action economy, Champion gets so much party protection)
Kineticist has... nothing. At all.
