One of my favorite parts of kineticist is a passive, always active, defensive ability. I love the flavor of the class so far, but I'd just love it if there was some kinetic defense option where I cover myself in stoneskin as earth or some such.

That would be interesting for an alternative to armor for an Earth kineticist. But I'm curious what Metal will offer!

Earth has some feats that are specifically about shields/armor.

Water has a solid defensive reaction, although it's overflow, and there are auras that can grant things like passive damage and concealment.

It'd still be neat to have a feat that grants you armor of an element comparable to actual armors though. Something akin to Mountain Stance's AC capping, or Scales of the Dragon. I can't speak on balance, or number of feats required to realize the concept, but an armor feat in conjunction with the weapon conjuring feat just oozes flavor.

Imagine a kineticist going from unarmed to wearing chain mail formed from ice and wielding a greatsword of flame in the space of a turn.
