Jabbing Style prerequisites

Rules Questions

I need a help with this question
Regarding the prerequisites:
Character must have improved unarmed attack and base attack bonus +6 and brawler's flurry class feature or flurry of blows class feature for a total of 3 prerequisites
Or must have Improved Unarmed Strike and base attack bonus +6 or brawler's flurry class feature or flurry of blows class feature for a total of 2 prerequisites ?

Quote:

Jabbing Style (Combat, Style)

A cluster of quick strikes deals more damage than a single roundhouse swing.

Prerequisite(s): Improved Unarmed Strike; base attack bonus +6, brawler’s flurry class feature, or flurry of blows class feature.

Benefit: When you hit a target with an unarmed strike and you have hit that target with an unarmed strike previously that round, you deal an extra 1d6 points of damage to that target.

You need Improved Unarmed Strike and then either 1 of the following: Either BAB+6, Brawler's Flurry, or Flurry of Blows.

There are other feats out there that are weirdly worded like this, and you can tell by the semi-colon after Improved Unarmed Strike. So if you see this in the future:

Quote:

Jabbing Master (Combat)

Your quick punches become even more lethal.

Prerequisite(s): Dodge, Improved Unarmed Strike, Jabbing Dancer, Jabbing Style, Mobility, Power Attack; base attack bonus +12, brawler level 8th, or monk level 8th.

Benefit: While using Jabbing Style, the extra damage you deal when you hit a single target with two unarmed strikes increases to 2d6, and the extra damage when you hit a single target with three or more unarmed strikes increases to 4d6.

It means you need Dodge, Imp Unarmed Strike, Jabbing Dancer, Jabbing Style, Mobility, and Power Attack at a minimum. But then you also need 1 of the following: Either you need BAB +12, or Brawler level 8th, or Monk level 8th.

There are a few stylistic principles to Pathfinder punctuation.

• Pathfinder uses the "Oxford comma", i.e. a comma before the "or" (or "and") in a list of things with three or more entries. For example, "a, b, or c" is a list with three entries of equal standing. If there's no such comma, it means only the last two are grouped together - "a, b or c" has 'b or c' as a seperate group from 'a'.
• In order to seperate lists with three or more entries from items not on the list, a semicolon is used.
• Pathfinder does not use "and" for groups of prereqs, instead just seperating them with commas, although everything seperated with a semicolon is still a single entry for the main list. So "a, b, c" should be read as 'a, b, and c', i.e. you need all three.

Prereqs are basically a list of checkboxes that need to be ticked, with each list entry being one box. The Oxford comma means "base attack bonus +6, brawler’s flurry class feature, or flurry of blows class feature" are grouped together, and thus (since there's an "or") you need only one of those to 'check the box':

□ Improved Unarmed Strike
□ base attack bonus +6, brawler’s flurry class feature, or flurry of blows class feature

Note: Overqualification isn't a thing in Pathfinder, so "or" checks are at least one of checks.
