Building Arc from Skeleton knight

Advice

nd I love Arcs Character
And would very much like to play something Akin to him. I don't think I can get spot on but would like To Try To get close

For those who don't know but want a quick run Down

Arc is A lit Skeleton who is like a cross between a paladin and A arcane caster .

Well not sure if any Race can make me a boney hero . Something that tends to me more feared so I can Roleplay the don't judge a Book by its cover trope / Try to keep my identity a secret as much as possible.

I like to play A race thatill make me seem big (Abit big for a medium creature) further make me look threatening, though I tend to be a good fella

Class any that can give me stuff like break Curse and other simular spells but give me some Arcane spells mostly blasting spells

Also needs to be pretty proficient in Using a great sword

I would like to map out the first 8 levels to see what can done

Lastly needs to be good .....really would love to be Chatoic good

What part of paladin do you want exactly because the only real way to get Chaotic Good Paladin is Vindictive Bastard or GM permission.

After looking up the character your best bet is probably a Mystic Theurge with levels in Crusader Cleric (cleric with martial feats) and Arcanist (wizard/sorcerer that can go melee). That is the easiest way to get a really good hybrid caster and still have some possibility of fighting with a greatsword. The alternative, is a high level Bonded Witch with suplemental levels in a full BAB class.

In either case the best case for race is Obitu (3rd party) which is literally a "playable skeleton" without actually being a skeleton. The alternate is asking the GM to let you get the skeleton template and ignore its alignment change. Alternate alternate, get 1 level of vigilante and the undead apperance social talent.

as arc is technically a whole group of classes grouped in one (summoner\paladin\pope\mage etc) id go with my one-man-multitasking build (it can also disable magical traps with the right feat):

a half-elf (need for the archtype, as it's elf only) calamity caller warpriest can cast any warpriest (cleric) spell up to 6th level, and his calamities allow him to 'nuke' target's all day long while fighting in full plate with any martial weapon he like.
pick the travel blessing and at level 10 you also can have short distance teleport (like arc's dimensional ability).

as for looking like a skeleton, you can ether 1 level dip into a vigilante and pick the social talent 'guise of unlife' (didn't see any undead appearance, maybe that was from the d20pfsrd ,renaming?) or go for an oracle's lich curse (via normal 1 level dip or if you do not want to lose class levels vie the oracle Variant Multiclassing)

another way to look like a skeleton is a synth summoner. picking the undead evolution (2 points) he later on get dimensional door as a sla so that help too. but in thi case the skeleton look is dropped when the eidolon is gone.

i like the vigilante guise of unlife the best as he is seen as undead once his mask\hamlet is removed and his identity show up.

Guise of Unlife is the one I was talking about. I just forgot the name as I was typing.

Btw something I just though of and it is kind of dumb but it technically works. A skeleton created using animate object with the soulbound construct template. Effectively bypassing the issue by trading the "undead" type for "construct". Its probably not intended, but templates are weird if you aren't careful.

templates are GM usually only option, and most GM won't allow you to take one (at least not unless they give one for the rest of the party).

if this is a GM building Arc he can just go for the skeletal champion template and change the alignment from evil to good.

Depends a lot on the GM and any compromise the player might be able to reach, ex: lose a level.

I personally wouldn't mind if the template is something that is being done for flavor more than power. I for example wouldn't say no outright, but if the template is being gained only for power gaming and cheese yeah nope not happening.
