Story Supplementals?

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

So my wife and I have played through all of Mummy's Mask and loved it and have started S&S.

Since there are nuances to the story missing (natural weakness to the card game) I was wondering if there are supplemental materials to help with the story for card game players (aside from having to get the books of the original AP).

On Board Game Geek, there are story books for each of the pre-Core box sets. They include far more text than you get with the scenario cards in the boxes, and come in text-only versions or with artwork. I'll provide the links, but if you want to find them without coming back here, go to BoardGameGeek.com and search for "Pathfinder card base set". Top results should be the four pre-Core base sets. Pick the one you want and look under the "Files" tab on its main page. Top results for each should be the respective "Adventure Guide version x.xx" links. Follow the link and select the version of the guide you want. They're all credited to soem combination of Byron "Kittenhoarder" Campbell and/or Neil "Autoduelist" Edmonds.

The Adventure Guides tweak the story a bit, but add so much depth that there's no question that they're preferable to the "story" on the cards included in the base sets and adventure decks!
