Hey,

When a PC has Beyond Morality and then takes Divine Source, Divine Source allows them to provide spells to clerics. However, clerics must be within one step of their deity's alignment. The PC in the case has no alignment. So, for this combination, how would this work out. Could clerics of any alignment worship the PC. Would the PC have to select an alignment for the purposes of Divine Source? Would no clerics be able to worship the PC?

Thanks.

That’s definitely “ask your GM” territory. (Mythic breaks a lot of rules - even its own.)

Personally, I would require you to come up with a concept that clerics are required to follow and allow clerics of any alignment to worship you. Unless you chose an alignment domain with Mythic Source (I would allow you to select any of them), in which case clerics would have to be within one step of said alignment(s).

Thanks for your response.

That's a pretty fun idea. I like that idea a deity with Beyond Morality could have different cult factions competing over ideology; chaotic evil cultists taking the destructive aspects of Fire to heart, while the lawful good worshipers follow the more cleansing aspects of Fire, as an example.

In regards to the cleric's aura, would you rule it like a True Neutral deity and have no aura?

Other than the aura any creature has, yes. A LN commoner, for example, gets a faint lawful aura at 5th level.
