Bullet Dodger build?

Advice

Hey all.

We've a one-shot western-themed adventure in the works, and I compulsively have to be different.

So I thought, instead of slinging bullets, what about avoiding them instead?

Deflect Arrows is my current base, but I want to use in more than once per round. Is this possible?

Anyone have any other ideas about the approach?

(Sorry for the abstract; I'm between clients and just need to get thoughts out).

I just found Cut From the Air.

The Wind and Lightning [Stance] feats are nice and thematic. Thanks.

Also, instead of an Amulet of Natural Armour, grab yourself an AMULET OF BULLET PROTECTION. You can also take FATE'S FAVOURED if you want to maximize it.

Also, for those John Wu moments you could take AMATEUR GUNSLINGER for Gunslinger's Dodge

GUNSLINGER'S DODGE:

At 1st level, the gunslinger gains an uncanny knack for getting out of the way of ranged attacks. When a ranged attack is made against the gunslinger, she can spend 1 grit point to move 5 feet as an immediate action; doing so grants the gunslinger a +2 bonus to AC against the triggering attack. This movement is not a 5-foot step, and provokes attacks of opportunity. Alternatively, the gunslinger can drop prone to gain a +4 bonus to AC against the triggering attack. The gunslinger can only perform this deed while wearing medium or light armor, and while carrying no more than a light load.

Now the problem with this is that it only gives you 1 Grit point per day, and if you're not using guns you have no way of restocking it throughout the day. You COULD take the EXTRA GRIT feat, but there's another way.

Grit, Luck and Panache are basically different names for the same resource. If you have levels in Gunslinger and Swashbuckler you add your Grit and Panache into 1 big pool, and can use those points on deeds from either class however you want to. Likewise archetypes like the Sleuth Investigator you can use Luck for Gunslinger deeds as well.

Here' the relevant text:

Grit, Luck, and Panache: Grit, luck, and panache represent three different means by which heroes can gain access to the same heroic pool, using it to accomplish fantastic feats. For characters with a mix of grit, luck, and panache, they pool the three resources together into a combined pool. (Those who use panache and luck do not gain twice their Charisma bonus in their pool.) For feats, magic items, and other effects, a panache user can spend and gain luck points in place of grit or panache points, and vice versa.

A luck user does not count as a grit or panache user to satisfy feat prerequisites.

So with 1 level of Swashbuckler or an archetype like Sleuth you'd have a way of restocking your "Grit" throughout the day, and you could use it to dodge bullets.
