Never in my life before have I ever watched a long-running TV series in its entirety... until this very month when I finished my Full House DVD boxed set. When I was watching it, my son took an interest and he surprised me by telling me his view that Danny was the main character. He said the whole central plot was how Danny could take care of his kids without a wife, because Jesse and Joey weren't responsible enough to be of as much help as they ought to. I've never heard of anyone seeing the show that way, but I guess Bob Saget was #1 in some people's books.
And I remember back in the 20th century, seeing Saget on America's Funniest Home Videos. I also remember seeing the Saturday Night Live episode he hosted, where he showed his true colors. He wasn't the square he played on FH; he had a filthy mouth!
I was never Saget's biggest fan, but it's a crying shame he died so soon. I'm sure he had plenty more to offer the world.
