In Who Rules Hell Harbor, should a wrecked ship banish 1 plunder each turn

Pathfinder Adventure Card Society

In Skull and Shackles rulebook, "At the end of any turn, if your ship is wrecked, banish 1 random plunder card from under the ship."

In Who Rules Hell Harbor, each character has his/her own ship. If a ship is wrecked, it won't get a chance to be repaired until its owner's next turn, when very likely most if not all plunders have been banished if banishing 1 plunder each turn.

(For those of you following along, this is scenario 0-2D.)

As written, that's the way it sounds. I haven't found a post saying otherwise, but others' search skills undoubtedly surpass mine, so we'll see.

It's worth noting that the designer said in this post that the party should share acquired loot, so even if one player has poor luck with their ship being wrecked, there will hopefully still be loot to be had. (Of course, with so many ships being faced, there's plenty of chances to get loot in this scenario.)

When I ran this scenario in play-by-post, I ruled that you only lost plunder at the end of your turn. The alternative is needlessly punitive and makes the scenario extremely un-fun.

1/5 *

FWIW, I played Amaryllis (d4 Wisdom) and spent most of these scenarios with no plunder. Didn't mind a bit.

What I did find annoying is having Agna (our best ship battler) get the ship that only allows 3 plunder. :(

Just another scenario where nobody got any good upgrades.
