The question is in the title.

Having those discussions archived is useful for a variety of reasons. You can refer back to them in discussions about the final version, and compare them to other playtests that may come later.

So the question is why the APG one is not there then

The forums have an archive,, which is where the playtest forums for the system and APG are. They should probably be moved there.

I really didn't like it until I realized I could collapse those thread portions. However, after a couple more playtests even that solution will still necessitate unnecessary scrolling.

In all the upheaval of the past few months, is it really worth it to post a thread that's basically "Why haven't you archived older message board content at a pace meeting my expectations?"

We are looking at some forum maintenance, including archiving threads, but that is low on the list of to-do tasks!

Cool.

In the interim, you can click the little arrow next to the subforum title. At that point it collapses down so that it doesn't take up a bunch of space.
