That was the first thing I sent to my players. Just the snippet that says "mithral waffle iron; Level 8; 355gp" XD

Finally, a reason to use this archetype!

I'd try to work in Deadly Simplicity, except that there just aren't any gods out there that have favored Weapon: Waffle Iron

And now we need one. Halflings are the usual suspects here.

Oh gods. Now I have the perfect idea for a thaumaturge.

Study em. Kill em. Grill em. Teach the world

Sadly that archetype dissuaded you from using valuable items. One of the feats state they break on crit

Then don't pick those feats? Or use those feats on other improvized weapons you find or snatch up, perhaps a sack full of normal waffle irons.

I am sure some halfling deity somewhere uses waffle irons as their favored weapon.

I'd be more inclined to say they'd use the waffles as weapons. ;)

Not if there’s any chance the waffle gets destroyed on a crit!

If you break the waffle, you just lose that waffle, but if you break the waffle iron then there are no more waffles! Won't someone think about 3rd breakfast! ;)

Not sure you can make dwarf bread in a waffle iron...

Yaaas! I finally figured out what my hillock halfling needs as a snack after getting healed... a waffle for the win every time!

(P.S. why is 'halfling' auto-corrected as 'half lingerie'? I'm glad I caught that one.)
