On Lost Omens: Grand Bazaar page 32, there is art of Roswine Yarindam, a female dwarf. She very clearly has a beard, which has flowers woven into it. There is nothing in the text to indicate that she is trans, disguised, has a medical condition that would cause unusual hair growth or just has a beard-shaped dog, so it is reasonable to assume that she grew it herself on an AFAB face.

There's also art of bearded dwarven women in Lost Omens Character Guide, where it notes that beards are sported by both male and female Grondaksen dwarves.

Heh, this might be news for particularly young people or new people to RPGs, but dwarven women have pretty much always been bearded in fantasy literature. Even since 1st/2nd edition Dungeons & Dragons. Except that in 3rd edition sources they wrote in things like "-some- grow facial hair" or "many of them shave it off".

There are plenty of human AFAB women who have hair on their face too, some with beards, some with sideburns, and some with stubble. And some like my grandma who never even grew leg hair. I like to think of it in Dwarven women as the same kind of scale, just more heavily skewed to the hairy side. So you'll still have a few Dwarven women without beards, or even leg hair, but it's about as rare for them as fully bearded women are for humans in the real world.

I believe the design goal is "your dwarf looks like the way you want them to look" with allowing any style of facial hair on whatever dwarf you want. Some Dwarven women grow bears naturally, some Dwarven men do not, many Dwarves shave part or all of their head.

It doesn't appear to be universal that female dwarves have beards, as none of the female dwarves depicted in Fires of the Haunted City have beards.

All of the Dwarven women whose pictures have made it into blog posts on this site lack beards -- seems to be an unwillingness to put this on the "front pages". Time for some front-page occurrences.
