hi second time playing starfinder as was struck with the idea of a kitsune phrenic adept operative and wanted to know if this was in any way viable in game

It's viable mostly because an operative is viable.

That said, you're trading out a bunch of operative tricks for a handful of easily resisted spells.

It'll still work and be a decent character to play, I'm just not sure you'll get a lot of mileage out of the archetype.
