Sorcerer help

Advice

Im working on an idea for a sorcerer with the ectoplasmic bloodlone. Its gonna be fun 1 to 20 sorcerer, 1 bloodline. So im going to use fog spells and pit spells as fun as i possibly can.

What im looking for is anything as far as items or feats or anything to improve the bloodline and pit spells, they dont have to be paizo, i just wanna find ways to make my first full caster fun. I already have a fun pile of fog spells but if anyone has any intereating ones thatd be cool too

Thanks!

There is zero need to insult people trying to help you.

roll4initiative flagged your post for the Web Team to relocate. It hasn't been moved, yet. Have patience.

But once it gets moved, since your comments are still available for all to see, you're less likely to get anyone responding to you.

I flagged his insulting post. Looks like it got deleted. (I wish it didn't get deleted so people could see how insulting it was).

Very weird to be called a very rude name just for trying to help them get their post moved to a much more relevant forum.

If you click on your own username and click threads or posts you can see it. Easiest way to move around the forums usually

Weird. I haven't owned a computer since the 90's. I can navigate the Paizo boards & everything else easily on my Jitterbug phone. I can even look at and write in Facebooks on my phone.

Take a deep breath in, then out...

Things will get worse as you get older.

Fleeting spell is the first thing I recommend to people going for pit spells & similar. Being able to get your pit out of the way of the Big Dumb Fighter can help a lot.

The summon swarm spell is nice for filling your pit with spiders or whatever. It's often not practical, but being able to do it even once is worthwhile. Ashen path is handy for letting other party members see thru your mists.

At some point you're going to want a spell which makes use of your bloodline arcana (admittedly, the ectoplasm bloodline arcana is one of the worst). Ghosts and so on aren't that much bothered by pits or fog spells - getting a straight damage spell every couple of spell levels is useful anyway, and works with the arcana.

Noble scion (or if you can't justify that in your background, improved initiative) is especially good for a sorcerer who may want to put battlefield control spells in place before you get charged by enemies. If you have the Int for it spell specialization is worthwhile. Varisian tattoo is similar. If you have a familiar by any means (possibly by sacrificing your L1 bloodline power) then it could be worth spending a feat on a feat to boost it e.g. improved familiar, or if it has an archetype then a feat based on that e.g. figment's fluidity.

I might suggest Hinderance Dismissal over fleeting spell for sorcerer, as fleeting create pit becomes a full-round action.

The 3rd level power for ectoplasm can let you cast melee touch spells a little more safely. Some I'd suggest are: chill touch (which can also benefit from your arcana), touch of blindness, and touch of gracelessness. Anything that hurts enemies' str (climb skill) or dex (reflex saves) will help your pits... and allies, I suppose.
