As the title suggests, I plan to run this in 1e. Has anyone done leg work on converting the AP?

Would it not be easier to just play it in 2e? Sorry if that's a silly question!

Of course! Why didn't I think of that?!

Here are some reasons:
*I don't really like 2e.
*Most of my group doesn't really like 2e.
*Me and most of my group aren't interested in buying all new books/PDFs/etc. or getting back on the supplement treadmill.
*I don't want to.

Your question wasn't silly, but your comment wasn't helpful.

I haven't done any actual work but I'm happy to look over your work and make suggestions if you'd like someone to bounce ideas off of.

Not done any leg work yet but do plan on running it for 1e my. Off the top of my head since it's low lvl it should be fairly easy to sub in Npc's that have already been done like from the various Npc guides or the monster codex (and the golarion specific one) With only very certain characters really needing to be re-written. Thats what I have tended to be doing with 2E stuff and seems to have worked well so far.

Having converted a lot of BECMI and AD&D to Pf1, I can say that as long as you know the target system well and your players' capabilities it's pretty easy to convert things. The odd creature will have to be replaced because they are more powerful in the target edition than they are in the source, and some enemies have to be buffed but it's generally straightforward, if occasionally time consuming.

haven't done any work yet, but would certainly appreciate it if someone beats me to it. while I plan to convert most of the APs Paizo has done so far in PF2 back to a good edition, I simply lack the time right now to do anything hobby-related

Hmmm, ok. Looks like I need to be a pathfinder on this conversion.

I've started putting maps in Roll20. I'll soon start building up the bad guy library (I usually rebuild all of the NPCs anyway). I'll take a look at treasure and DCs as well.

My group is about to wrap up CotCT, so I've got about a month before we'd start AV.

Necro-posting.

Isn't Shattered Star already the PF 1E version of this AP?
