There used to be a Climbing Evolution in the playtest. What became of it?
Was it a deliberate decision on the part of the developers to not have eidolons able to climb? Perhaps there just wasn't enough space in the book for all the cool evolutions? Or was it just an editing mishap and never should have ended up on the cutting room floor?

Not sure, but 3rd level Evolution Surge still lets you grant your Eidolon a Climb speed equal to their land Speed. So maybe the base Evolution feat got axe'd for now, but they managed to keep it for the Focus Spell?
