Hi folks, just a quick note that not all of the items are in the warehouse yet, so the new releases listed might change if they don't all make it here by Thursday, or we might end up pushing order creation for subscribers back a bit further.

Hi everyone! We're pushing order generation to tomorrow (Friday, August 13th, very scary) in the hopes that the last few products we're waiting on show up today. Depending on how today goes, it may end up pushed to Monday (August 16th), but we'll keep you all up to date as things progress!

We are hoping to hear an update in the next hour or so on when the last item (tech revolution) will arrive.
Very likely we will be creating paizo.com subscription orders this afternoon, and begin shipping as soon as possible Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning.
I will update this thread once I hear back on whether we have an update on Tech Revolution and if that will be included in August or September's new releases.

The order creation for August's 4 products appears to have successfully finished creating orders. CS will be addressing issues that might have arisen with order creation in the morning. We hope to begin shipping ASAP so if you have something critical like cancelling, updating addresses, etc, please do that as soon as possible or let us know via email if you need assistance.

So ready for Secrets of Magic, and excited to start seeing spoilers as people's books ship and pdfs drop.
So excited for this shipment.
Well, I am excited to finally check out Strength of Thousands! Though, with the increased shipping cost and VAT in the EU I'll probably go digital only after the two current Adventure Paths finish. It's getting a bit much, unfortunately.

Also maybe a dumb question, but I noticed on the subscription page before order auth it said 1-20 business days and on the 'my orders' page now it says it'll ship in 20 business days.
Is that just a filler number or is that telling me I should expect the product to be sent out on the 13th or 14th of September?

It's my first sub book and a hotly anticipated one so I am currently so antsy that I am all but running around screaming in panic that I might not get it as soon as I thought. ;_;
I emailed CS about my order shipping and they responded by making it more expensive.....

Mine says in 20 days, though I swear yesterday it was 1 to 20. I wouldn't put much weight into it, I don't believe they mark up to that detail their shipping estimates. Probably just because it has been a day since generation started.
That being said, I don't believe anyone has had their shipment sent out yet? Could definitely be wrong but I have yet to see any of the usual "PDF acquired!" posts that line up with the first waves.

If you are only talking about authorization emails, then I can tell you from years of experience at having a Paizo subscription that the estimate in that authorization email is only that - an estimate - and not a final word on when your subscription order will ship. I have received the same notification of 1 to 20 business days before and had my card charged and received my PDF download and shipment notification email within 10 business days, if not within a week of receiving the initial authorization email with that 20 business day estimate.

The poster in the Reddit thread may also have failed to distinguish an auth from a charge. I would assume that to be the case unless that person is actually giving out spoilers from the PDF.

Any word if they've started shipping yet?
Does the news that some orders will start shipping apply only to the subscription to the regular edition of Secrets of Magic or the Special Edition subscription as well?
Waiting on that shipping window to open so I can read Magic Sword's Reddit AMA for several weeks. :)

As an international subscriber and possibly one of the last to get the shipment, I'm just crossing my fingers hoping that shipping is fast and concludes before Sept 1st!

Wondering about the fact that shipping orders have started being confirmed:
What is your “close of business” for that, so I know when to stop obsessively refreshing my email (if mine hasn’t been confirmed by that point?)
The latest time I've received a shipping email is 9:40PM EST.

They officially close at 5 p.m. Pacific time, but I have received e-mails from Paizo long after that time.

right? heh, I'm gonna be on pins and needles till mine drops.
It's a vicious cycle. Check your email for the shipped email, then check the order to see if the charge has been initiated, then your bank account to see if it's pending. When Aroden, when will it be my orders turn lol.

The wait from pending on the orders page to pending on the bank account is the most excruciating part of the wait.
Particularly if you’ve had a card error with Paizo before…
