undead familiar template?

Howdy, we are gearing up to play Hell's Vengeance soon. My player is going to be a human wizard necromancer and wants an undead familiar at 1st level. Which sounds like a ton of fun.

I was looking to see if there was an undead template to use for something like this but currently not seeing one.

Another option I had was for her to have her PC take Improved Familiar, hand-wave the prerequisites, and give her a Beheaded.

But, she did favor the cat familiar, a family pet, that is now 'undead'. I guess we could do some customization for it but if there was a template out there, can someone point me to it?

Soulbound Familiar archetype maybe? It's not exactly undead, but has the flavor.
Bloodline Familiar, specifically the Undead bloodline. It's treated as undead for some purposes.

Bones spirit familiar might fit the bill, though more ghostly as opposed to skeletal. You could say that the Spirit's Gift feat gives it the cosmetic effects of the spirit, I suppose.

If you wanted to houserule it, I'd say start with the Celestial Servant feat. Note that Celestial template is +0 (or +1), and that there are a number of undead templates that are +1 or so. Ectoplasmic(+1), Skeletal Champion(+1), Mummified Creature(+1 or +2), Haunted Construct(+1), Ghoulish Creature(+1), Juju Zombie(+1), Frostfallen Creature(+1), Vampiric Creature(+1, actually has its own feat), or Mummified Animal. I'd probably lean toward one of the options that lets them keep intelligence, but starting mindless familiars are a thing already.

There is a feat for dhampirs: Vampiric Companion

IMO it's ok to ignore the race and level prerequisites, as long as the familiar doesn't gain fast healing until level 10.

The Undead Master archetype gives you a Corpse Companion, which…is different than a familiar, but certainly along the lines of what you are looking for (how does this work? Is Zombie Deathsnatcher a RAW option?)

Oh wow, a lot of options I just didn't recognize. And I've now sorted out how to make the adjustments in Hero Labs.
Currently leaning towards 'Mummified Creature' but it's still early. Though I think a Juju Zombie familiar or a Vampiric Creature familiar would be hella fun too.
