Unable to change payment method

I keep adding a card to my account but it will not change the default card. Every month that card fails, I get an email, I respond saying that card is no longer good and to use the one used the previous month, and it is re-run on the new card and it works. But this will keep happening until the default card is changed, which remains in place despite my best efforts and email correspondences with CS. All the system allows me to do is add additional cards, of which there are now three duplicates, without ever removing the original card.

Please look into this to avoid trying to charge the inactive card again.

Hi! Apologies about that! Making sure an old payment method stops showing up requires updating it in a few places (sometimes ones that only CS has access to). I've updated your default payment method for subscriptions (that's likely what was giving you the constant trouble), as well as removed the old and duplicated payment methods. That should fix it once and for all, but if you notice the old payment method anywhere, let me know!
