Foxfire: You gain a foxfire-ranged unarmed attack with a maximum range of 20 feet. The attack deals 1d4 damage of the chosen type (no ability modifier is added to the damage roll). Your foxfire attack is in the sling weapon group. Like other unarmed attacks, you can improve this attack with handwraps of mighty blows.

I have been thinking about this for a bit, but for a Kitsune Monk with Foxfire since Foxfire is considered an unarmed attack that is affected by Handwraps can this be used with Flurry of Blows? I feel like it would, but it's a unique situation and I'm curious about it now.

I asked a few of the GMs and Adventure Authors at PaizoCon and it looks like the answer is a glorious yes.

Wild wind stance exists so I don't see a problem with using flurry with foxfire.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Flurry of Blows just requires an unarmed strike, so it should work with kitsune foxfire as well as leshy seedpods and a sprite's spark in addition to all those conventional punches and kicks and the like.

Yep. Flurry of Blows doesn't say anything about the strikes needing to be melee, just unarmed :)

Go rain of embers stance for added coolness? (Damage would be low though, but its DEFINITELY COOL!)
