At thee risk of beating a dead horse...

Has anyone found an errata that grants clarity to this reaction, or grants a definitive time limit?

Um... clarify the question, please? If you're talking about the damage resistance, currently pf2 d20pfsrd has it specifically affecting the triggering damage.

I must admit I'm not familiar with any blurred lines from this reaction. It seems very clearly written.

You mention time limit...time limit on what? It is a reaction that does not expand resources, so it can be used typically once per round (unless you have something granting more reactions or you have already used your reaction). If your referring to the resistance, it clearly states that it is for the "triggering damage" so it is a one and done event.

Please clarify as you seem to suggest there is a long time debate on this subject, but I've frankly not seen that.

It's instantaneous. The resistance lasts only for the triggering damage. There is no reasonable way to interpret the duration as anything else.
