Cloud Step Feat Question

Rules Discussion

Hey everyone!!

Quick question, I was curious if with the Cloud Step feat you could move up to a monster that is flying, attack, then move back. Does Cloud Step only work when you move or can you stand in the air until the end of your turn then you fall?

Yes, you can, it mentions nothing about falling except "at the end of your turn"

Further evidence with a different example worded incredibly similarly:

A Kobold's hatchling flight also mentions that you fall at the end of your turn, yet it can only be used once per round, so it's clearly not referencing chaining multiple of these actions together. If these feats were meant to make you fall once you stop using move actions, then they'd say that.

Thank you!, I appreciate your response ^^.

Just to clarify, the routine you mentioned would require three actions. One up, hit, then one down. Although, you do not need worry since you're a Rogue with Legendary Acrobatics, which mean that must have picked Cat Fall at some point, which means you can just drop harmlessly, so you have extra actions to work with (more attacks, maneuver or feat use).
